As busy as people are these days I am continually impressed by the willingness of volunteers to give their time and talent to people in need of some help.
Nowhere is that more evident than each year in the Fall when groups of volunteers come together in Kent (and neighborhing cities) to help rake leaves, clean gutters, repair a roof, or remove junk items as part of service days.
It turns out that a lot of the volunteers are Kent State University students, particularly student service organizations, who get up early, roll up their sleeves and get busy cleaning and fixing properties.
Here’s a snapshot of this year’s efforts that was published by Rebuilding Together of Greater Cuyahoga Valley.
