no responses Tis’ the season to be campaigning and voting so even though I’m intentionally apolitical, I’m going to break my vow of neutrality and recommend your support and ask you to vote Franklin Elementary School here in Kent.
Franklin Elementary was selected as one of only 5 finalist schools nation-wide for the Glidden Paint ”Colorful Classroom Makeover” contest.
The hard work of making the cut out of 320 schools has been done, now they just need your vote. At the end of the first day of open polls, Franklin Elementary was in the lead with 41% of the vote but Jefferson Elementary in New Mexico was gaining on them with 36% of the vote.
Giving a school a paint makeover is as bi-partisan as it gets, so forget whether you’re a D or an R, and vote for Kent’s Franklin Elementary School. Voting ends October 26th so get your vote in asap.
