The weekend after Labor Day means it’s time for Art in the Park in Kent. So when making your weekend plans be sure to set aside a couple of hours to get outside for a great walk in the park to see what local and regional artists have for sale at Fred Fuller Park on Middlebury Road. Growing up with an artist mom, who would take me from art show to art show to help her set up her booth, I know how much these events mean to the artists — and as a city manager I know how much these events mean to our community — so if you can spare some time (and probably a few dollars) please stop by Fred Fuller Park this weekend for the 14th annual Art In The Park festival.
