Just a quick heads up that if you were planning to go into downtown Kent this week for a little lunch or shopping you need to be aware that the utility work for Phases 2 and 3 of the Phoenix Project are going to be underway which means the City will have to close the parking spots on Main Street this week between Depeyster and Water Street. You can still drive down Main Street and the businesses will still be open but you’ll have to park in one of the lots or on the side streets. I regret the inconvenience but consider it a small sacrifice for a great cause.
